Credit Control Assistant \n£28,000 P/A\nPetersfield\nFull Time | Permanent | Monday – Friday \n\nDo you have experience working in a finance or accounts department?\n\nDo you have strong administration skills?\n\nWe are recruiting a Credit Control Assistant to join the team.\n\nThe main purpose of this role is to support the Credit Control function of the business.\n\nIn return, we are offering a salary of £28,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus 25 days holiday, cycle to work scheme, Christmas shutdown plus more!\n\nThis role is full - time and permanent. The hours of work will be full time and 37 hours; 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday and Friday 08:00 – 15:30. \n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\nProcess new customer accounts/orders.\nRaise manual VAT invoices & return receipts.\nMaintain meaningful chase notes on the system.\nHelp escalate overdue payments.\nOrder credit reports.\nEvaluate all new orders within 48 hours of receipt.\nSet/maintain/monitor credit limits.\nDevise and agree payment plans for higher risk clients.\nSeek to meet daily/weekly/monthly/annual cash collection targets.\nRecovery of retention balances.\nEnsure the effective allocation of cash receipts on a daily basis.\nThe ideal candidate:\n\nStrong Excel and Word skills. \nIdeally will have some recent experience working in an accounts or finance department.\nAble to work to deadlines and targets.\nEager to learn and develop skills in a credit control environment. \nPlease call Liz Morgan in the Attega office for more information
