HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver

Pertemps are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers to work on behalf of GXO Currys in Newark.
We are looking for drivers who can commit to regular work, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. We can offer shifts throughout the week, from Monday to Sunday, with start times available across both days and nights.
Day shifts involve delivering to Currys stores, whilst night shifts consist of straightforward trunking work between regional distribution centres.
If you have recently passed your HGV test or have less than 12 months' experience, we can still offer work on this contract following the successful completion of a one-day assessment with a Pertemps Assessor at our Training Centre in Kidderminster.
What is the pay for this role?

• £18.74ph Days
• £19.79ph Nights
• £20.84ph Saturdays
• £21.89ph Sundays

All rates are paid PAYE.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR10, CD10 or IN10 endorsements)
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations
• Reliable and professional approach to work
